Help with DSL and USR8200

Hi,
I have my router connected to Verizon Westell 6100 and it is working fine but I don't really understand the connection and I'm hoping someone here can explain it.

I have the Westell 6100 setup for a bridge connection. The lan ip on the modem is set for 192.168.1.1.

On the usr8200 I have the lan set for 192.168.2.1. The WAN ip will connect with either no ip or 192.168.1.47. Do I need an ip address here? Is there any way I can get to the modem page (192.168.1.1) from my network?

Thanks.
Regards-Michael G.
