Re: Uhm... From my perspective that’s over $100 per service (not counting taxes, fees, etc…): much higher than the normal non-bundled rates from other providers.
I can get a fully loaded digital cable or satellite pack with every premium & DVR for slightly less than $100/mo. Phone service with unlimited long distance will cost anywhere from $30-60. Add another $60/mo for a cell phone and that leaves me with about $220/mo for their internet, awfully close to their unbundled valued price. Don’t see much of a savings there.
Yeah, 50x50 is impressive… and excessive for the vast majority of the market. The only reason somebody would justify this services is if they’re doing a lot of downloading or had a lot of users in the household. Of course you’ll now slam into that nice 40 Gig cap faster! |
