Oakdale, CT | nntp access changed? I have been gone a few months, and now I cannot access news.myeastern.com...has there been a change? I am expecting one at some point.

Oakdale, CT | Thanks, but now I can only get 3 of 4 connections...This used to be expected during high usage times, sometimes dropping even to 2 connections. Is there a policy (written or unwritten) change regarding number of connections? and is the server still a Giganews server? |

| We now allow 3 connections, at 256k each, instead of 4 connections at 128k each. So, overall, you should see a net increase of 256k per user |
