VZ stock doesn't seem to be affected by this "news" today (its up)
For those looking at VZ's stock prices this year, keep in mind that they spun-off Idearc and every VZ shareholder got IAR stock (thus that sudden one day drop in VZ share price about a month ago)
VZ pays a 4.5% dividend and you have the potential for serious capital appreciation (if you believe that FIOS is going to be a long-term success and seriously who doesnt?)
