Re: Project Pronto and Alcatel 1000

yes, i am 20k+ feet away from CO. But I a RT has been deployed across the block from me. So I will be switching over to that next week on the 15th. So i needed the instructions for the Alcatel 1000.

I was trying to follow your instructions and i can't seem to connect to »10.0.0.138. It should work right?

Maybe because I have 1 port linksys router between my pc and the Alcatel 1000 modem, could this be the problem?

If you've got a router between you and the Alcatel, you won't be able to reach the internal web server. You should connect your computer directly to the Alcatel with a standard ethernet cable. Just remember that you won't have internet access until you switch back to the Linksys (unless you make other mods to the computer's IP setup or use PPPoE).
