said by CED article : Some of the other transitions weren't so effortless, however. There were 100 billing databases and 21 separate billing conversions, just 11 of which have been converted, Boncimino notes.
There are also 1,745 local franchise authorities and organizations involved and 88,000 people hours that have been invested thus far in the transition to convert 350 Adelphia and Comcast local offices. And it's not over yet.
"We have a very aggressive plan, with six teams running in parallel. We converted 12,000 employees to payroll in two weeks, re-branded statements for customers, and have 80 new stocking locations. Now, we're getting the training into the field," Boncimino says.
You been told this numerous times and you even agreed to wait it out knowing that some things won't be corrected until at least January: »www2.dslreports.com/forum/remark···=january
Then again in reality, you can probably call and get either bumped up to the next higher tier of service which others in YOUR area have or get moved over to the higher speed Roadrunner service tiers (from the "grandfathered" Adelphia tier you are currently on) which many others have in the San Diego area.
On top of all that, you seem to have missed the news in the last few weeks that Time Warner was increasing speeds soon anyway: »Time Warner's 'Quiet' 10Mbps Upgrade
P.S. You should ask the Carlsbad city council why they want to jack up the cable franchise fees that Time Warner customer's pay in their cable bill: Union-Tribune - Carlsbad pursuing higher cable franchise fee -- Don't mind me, I'm just trying to help...
