MSN Photo Server Broke?

Do you still have picture-it express installed? click on the photo icon on your dashboard (icons at the top... same bar as Mail and More) and click on photos. It should walk you through installing the new photo software.

Thanks for the reply. I've never had picture-it express installed before, and we were able to share photos. Note that I'm talking about the MSN server where you can post photos and share them via a slide-show in an email. I'll give it a try though. Thanks.

Just go to [removed] and run the fix. Make sure you're not signed into MSN at the time (so run it from IE). Issue resolved.

Yes, I've had the same problem. So, does anyone know what to do about it? I'm trying to share Christmas photos of the family to out-of-town family via the MSN Photo Server, and it's UNAVAILABLE. What happened to it?

It was caused by the MSN 9.5 upgrade. Running the fix will solve the issue about 98% of the time.

So... How did you find out about this? I looked all over MSN and couldn't find anything, so I posted here. Seems like something MSN would want us to know about...

dudes.. ive had this problem too..........got the fix and whamo...its fixed...! i have the 56k modem...such an odd fix too. you click on the fix (download) and in 1 second its installed. how odd huh? but its fixed

I've been going crazy trying to fix this problem. I e-mailed MSN and they told me I would have to contact Verizon since my MSN is bundled with my Verizon DSL. When I e-mailed Verizon, all I kept getting was automated replies with fixes that didn't even pertain to my problem! Thanks so much for the info! I am again able to share photos with my family.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! This has been driving me crazy, it worked fine, and then all of a sudden stopped working! The fix worked immediately, thanks a bunch!

Unfortunately, it was removed because direct link postings are apparently against the posting rules. If you go to google.com and type in photoemailfix look for the one that's the autoupdate from msn.com. Mod: if this not allowed, please IM me and let me know.

Nothing on Google works, so what IS the fix for this MSN 9.5 photo server problem? And where can I find it? Also, I now have Contacts disaapeared out of my Address Book available on writing email. Also, messages are disappearing from my SENT folder. This was so VERY irresponsible of MSN to release such corrupted software. I managed to contact MSN and it wound up being someone in a customer Service unit in Central America who knew nothing about nothing. Said I had to contact Verizon since I have their MSN. Have not done this yet. Just can't believe how SCREWED this all is. HELP if you can.

It's a patch you need to install. Just follow dsmfour 's instructions for searching and you should find it with no problem.
