Re: BOClean FP? IMHO, it would be inappropriate to go into detail in a public forum. Note that the link regarding the USB malware element at issue doesn't appear here either. |

If it helps I'm not interested in details in as much but wanted, for the sake of clarity and so that i don't come to a wrong conclusion based on your quote, to establish is Nirsoft in malware business or are his/their tools used against his or their knowledge_permission.

In light of this, does anyone have a recommendation for a free cookie utility that does what Cookie View does---let you view, edit, delete cookies and can be user specific and allow you to specify custom cookie directories? -- The truth of a thing is the feel of it, not the think of it. -- Stanley Kubrick |

| Looks interesting, though not as full featured (can't edit, etc.) and only for IE. Those of us who use both IE and FF need an all-browser tool. However, will check this one out for my IE use; the idea of using a cookie manager (which does contain info that's private, like passwords, right?) from a malware vendor, even if the program itself checks out clean, is uncomfortable, so an alternative is welcome. -- The truth of a thing is the feel of it, not the think of it. -- Stanley Kubrick |

It superior to just about any utility I have used for cookies and is superior to Opera's and IE's handling. If you are using Fx 2.0 you can regain the functionality that MoFo saw fit to remove in 2.0 but better to stick with 1.5. |

It is one thing if nirsoft tools are used by malware writers and another if Nirsoft is actually in the malware creation . I think the implications are greater in latter case and it would be useful to have it either confirmed or dispelled.

 | reply to Nancymca I agree with your decision to include Nirsoft's tools. I recently purchased a pretty new computer from a client and downloaded Nirsoft.I was able to get their Pay Pal, Banking and different other accounts with a single click. It is well known as a hacking tool and I'm glad you're taking a get tough approach. |
