| Qwest Disappoints Customers, AGAIN!!! I was a Qwest customer for eight years and everytime that it would rain I had no telephone. There response was that it would cost me $80.00 per hour to find the problem, which was on there end. I live in the desert, we do not have that much rain, and the only time they would show up to repair the problem, the line had already dried out. I finally after 4 years of this constant frustation told Qwest to hit the road. Also, Qwest sells your number, even though they deny this, how would someone get my number if it is unlisted/unpublished the same day that Qwest had hooked it up? |

| You are right but, they threaten quite frequently. The whole problem is that Qwest wants to sell the telco here. Their biggest problem is, no takers. The area was established in the 1950's and has seen little improvement since then. It took several petitions in order to have this exchange added to the local Phoenix area code, we sit just 3 miles north of Surprise and most likely will be annexed soon. You would think that Qwest could improve service in smaller communities so not to lose us to cable or some other option. Also not much said about them selling the telephone numbers. |
