Need help backing up my MSN emails

Hi All and Happy New Year.

Does any one out there know how (or can point me to where I can find out how) I can copy the emails on my hard drive to an external hard drive. Oh, I also need My Favorites.
I'm using Verizon with MSN.

My hard drive is crashing.... been doing it slowly over the past couple of months. I keep having to take out the battery and reboot to get it to work again.

I recently bought an external hard drive and have been copying over my files, docs, music, pix. etc. ...

But I can't figure out how to get my emails and favorites copied.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Your favorites should be linked to your MSN email address, so when you reinstall MSN and setup your account the favorites should follow. If you want to be 100% you keep them even if you don't reinstall the MSN software you could always import them to IE

The same applies to email... most of the time. If it stored online (if you can go to hotmail and view the mail) then there is no need to back it up. However if it's stored on your computer then you will need to. Here's a walkthrough that will help. At the end just copy the DB folder to your external hard drive
