Sharing resources among subnets (USR 8001 & 9003)

I recently purchased two products of USR: an ADSL Ethernet/USB Router SureConnect Model 9003 (hereinafter «9003») and a Broadband Router Model 8001 with Printer Server (hereinafter «8001»). I used them to create my domestic LAN. Here is how I connected them (DHCP enabled):

9003 to ADSL line
Desktop A (192.168.1.3) via USB to 9003 (192.168.1.1)
Laptop B (192.168.1.4) via ENET1 to 9003 (192.168.1.1)
8001 (192.168.1.6) via ENET2 to 9003 == 9003 (192.168.1.1) via WAN to 8001 (192.168.0.254)
Desktop C (192.168.0.158) via 1 to 8001 (192.168.0.254)
Laptop D (192.168.0.159) via 2 to 8001 (192.168.0.254)

Operating systems are:
Desktop A: Win XP Home SP2
Laptop B: Win XP Pro SP2
Desktop C: Win XP Home SP2
Laptop D: Win XP Home SP2

All machines are in the same domain: XXX. Everything works but I have a problem in terms of file sharing throug the Microsoft network:

A can see only itself and B, and can access files of both
B can see only itself and A, and can access files of both
C can see only itself and D, and can access files of both
D can see only itself and C, and can access files of both

So it looks like there is no file sharing allowed between subnet 192.168.1.x and 192.168.0.x. I suspect I have to setup 8001 in order to allow file sharing across subnets, but how?
