Re: Consumer Demand for non-DRM online music? I am an idiot myself in many areas. I'm a mechanic's wet dream, I know nothing about web hosting hosting or modern politics, and would probably not care about any issues effecting any of these areas. Here I am a dumb, educated consumer, not a hobbyist or a tweaker, or someone who has an semi-educated view on the subject.
Consumers won't care, or even notice DRM until it bothers them, and by then it'll be everywhere. It goes for everything. In digital content land, there are far more consumers than other two personality types, which is the point. It's not just people who aren't computer whizzes who won't notice it, it's anyone who is not really going to look into it. It's a boring topic, so I don't blame people for buying whatever and not caring. -- The Problem With Music.
