| [Praise] Cingular Customer Service
So I know seeing praise for Cingulars customer service is a tough thing to swallow , I had a heck of an experience. I added a line to my account a couple of months back. I purchased a Razr through Cingular with a 50 dollar rebate. Fast forward to now and I still have not received my check. Being in one of those moods ready to argue, I called Cingular customer service to see what was going on. After being transfered several times, and once to the rebate center, where there was no answer, I was starting to get upset. My final call was to sales, as I knew there would be an answer. She told me she could not help, so she transfered me to customer service. I got a nice guy who essentialy said the stuff I had already heard. At that point I had had enough so I simply said that I was going to minus the 50 dollars off my next bill. Well, next words out of his mouth were: "Thats a great idea, I was just going to suggest this myself. I will subtract 50 dollars for you right now." I could not believe this. After we hung up, I checked my Cingular balance, and sure enough, 50 dollars had been subtracted. Is it just me or, -gulp- is Cingular customer service on its way up?  |

| reply to swintec I have to agree. A few years back had nothing but trouble with Cingular, but last time I added a new line and bought a new phone (that wasn't even available on the website), they not only got my order right, but charged me the online rate.
Much better than previous experiences. |

Just signed another contract 2 days ago. I have to agree with swintec, their network is top notch. Thru out the state of Mi., Ohio, New york and Maryland. Never had any problems. Some times I wonder if it's the users phone that is the real problem and in turn, blame it on the network or the Co. itself. There are some bad phones out there, as users will point out on Howards forums, user reviews at Biz rate and tests at Consumer Reports will show. I'm on t-mobile now and had one dropped call in 14 months. . . . . -- You can never be too rich, too thin or have too much Bandwidth |
