Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children!!
I'm so tired of hearing people use this excuse (except in the Simpsons, of course).

In my last house there was a homeowner's association (yuk!!) and I was trying to get the rules changed so you could park a motorhome in the driveway for a couple of days a month to make it easier to get ready for a long trip. One of the neighborhood moms stood up and said, "What about the children? They may get hurt playing around a motorhome." I told to her to sit down and shut-up if she didn't have anything useful to add...but my recommendation was voted down by all the angry moms trying to protect their brats.

That was sarcasm, right? Or did you really think he said it in those words?

So you think it's reasonable that someone should allow their kids to play around someone else's motorhome in someone else's driveway? It's obvious she was just using "the children" as an excuse to get the recommendation voted down because she didn't want to see a big motorhome in someone's driveway for three days in a year.

Hell no; keep your brats in your own yard away from my $100,000+ piece of equipment. I don't want my MOTORHOME getting hurt!

That's EXACTLY what I got from shimonmor See Profile's post.
