| I think That the "possible" jail time is ridiculous BECAUSE, depending on the grade level (I didn't read any of the articles), the kids probably have already done something...the way kids are nowadays, they're experimenting younger and younger. It happened, suspend the teacher and move on. |
| It was 7th grade, so the kids were likely 12 or 13 years old. Unfortunately, this means that some of the kids probably have experimented. (I'd Google for some studies on when teens are starting to experiment, but I'm at work and I'm afraid of what sites might come up if my search terms include the words "teen" and "sex".  ) |
