said by knkayotte :I just want my interleave turned off. Have you tried contacting Qwest, or used the Qwest forum? There are numerous customers who have successfully gotten interleave removed from their DSL circuit albeit it involved time and contacting the right people. |

| If they turned off Interleaving, and offered me speeds 10Mbps+ and at least 1Mbps of upload I would go back to them. When I had them they could only offer me 7Mbps/720Kbps. Also my interleaving would add 32ms to ANY location. They change those 2 things and it would awesome. Only time will tell. -- Hot Jamz 94FM »cjaiceman.is-a-geek.com/hotjamz/hotjamz.pls |

| reply to Cjaiceman They could "only" offer you "7mb /720" ....?
Dude.. you're on the top of their tiers already! And, that's faster than what most cable customers get! -- "Wipe out the national deficit over night... Tax the stupid!" - about 50 gMail invites available. PM if you'd like one. |

| reply to The Beer Who do I e-mail and what forum? I've already been up a down the Qwest forums. No definitive answer there. I have a nice clean line to, could easily do without interleave.
On another note, no cable in my neck of the woods, DSL is pretty much the only option. I'd love to see FTTH bought doubt us rural folks will see that anytime soon. I'm lucky to get 7/896. |

The exact answer is not there. They do not want the exact answer there as it may lead to abuse. If you review the thread, and use some common sense, you will figure it out. |

While this maybe true, Comcast is the only other provider in the area. They offered me 8000/768 for only a few $$ more a month, and their pings are much lower. Plus I have the "PermaBoost" so I usually get 18-32Mbps vs. the 7Mbps W/ interleaving that Qwest is offering. That extra $5/month is worth it. -- Hot Jamz 94FM »cjaiceman.is-a-geek.com/hotjamz/hotjamz.pls |
