Unless there are 3 ways to put these hinges on, i'm baffled....here are two pics of how i have it sitting now....it really doesnt make any difference if i flip the hinge.....any ideas?

I think I see the problem. Put the hinge pin to the front of the door.

When you had to door setup the original way, was the hinge pin on the inside or outside of the dryer door. Looks like to me with the way they are now, that is what is causing the issue.

From the pics you posted, if you took the hinge and flipped it 180 degrees top to bottom, that should put the hiinge pin on the outside of the door and maybe bring the door in closer to seal.

Wouldn't that put the counter-sink on the wrong side?

It's fixed.....It's amazing how one-sided i was looking at this...i flipped it back and forth but never turned it around, if that makes any sense...once i did, it brought everything flush and shut with no issue.....wow...i feel stupid. Thanks for everyones replies.
