must be a slow news day. How many vendors have promised to do this? The only thing I have found close is spamarrest.com. Love it or hate it Challenge/Response works against zombie spam. |

| Challenge/response might be a short term fix for the selfish end-user, but it's not a real solution. Read here for some of the issues.

| I use C/R with spamarrest.com. It is C/R with enhancements
Old arguements. newer technology has put aside most of these issues with C/R. it isn't selfish. how is clicking on a single URL one-time to authenticate you forever (unless revoked by enduser) selfish? Are we saying that people don't know how to click in URL's in email?
Plus, C/R solutions offer the option to import your existing address book and whitelist entire domains.
Don't knock C/R unless you have tried it. C/R has blocked 100% of spam that made it past commercial server based solutions into my account.
For over a month I have had ZERO spam get into my inbox. and I get over 100 spam's a day directed to my domain. Server gets about 90% of the spam, SpamArrest gets the others. |
