It doesn't end there. The links she supposedly clicked on may have been camouflaged - I've had this happen many times, both with intrusive porn and with other iffy sites (gambling, drugs from overseas). The tag (html) isn't the same as the URL! I've also had the experience of one of those 'loops' - it literally put up ~100 windows before I could stop it - and I'm a programmer and I wasn't freaking out at the time.
This whole case is a stupid crock. Based on what is in that article, the charges are simply unprovable - what, did they put a bunch of southern Baptists on the jury? What a waste of time and resources - there are real criminals out there fgs. You can start with the producers of porn sites with intrusive code. |
