If apple is going to make money off this move then they have to charge more than $5! $5 won't cover the cost of receiving the call, taking down the number and running the credit card much less talking the customer through enabling the port. I think Apple is telling the truth when they blaim this on SOCs. There's a number of companies who have spent billions doing a reverse IPO and taking the company private in order to not have live under SOCs rules.
