Sending movies to the PC is merely the first step. Eventually, and probably sooner, (some ppl can do it already) streaming movies to the PC will be no different from then streaming movies to your living room.
The ReplayTV was headed this way when Hollywood sued em back into the stone-age... but it's coming. Networked PC/DVR's/Media Centers etc are already here and will become more integrated, common, and easy to use.

That makes sense. We are led to believe bandwidth costs about 100 times more in canada than in the rest of the world so no netflix in canada ever. It would cost the subscriber millions of dollars. |
