ive seen several people say their mini is a core 2 duo not the core duo i only see the core duo offered on apples site and not offered as a option.some are 2 something ghz where do i get 1 with the better processor or are they just mistaken |

I do believe people have swapped out processors within the Mini for the faster C2D.

Apple's been lagging with upgrading the mini with Core2Duo. I've been waiting for a while now to upgrade my G4 mini.

I've got an eager buyer lined up for my G4 mini that wants to try out Macs without blowing a ton of cash.
On a sidenote, I cant believe its been nearly 2 years since I've had my mini. It's been a great little machine with no issues whatsoever, still havent reinstalled the OS or anything, upgraded the original panther to tiger, went thru every update with no problems.

| I don't own a mini, but I can't believe it's already been two years since it's release! I can still picture the Keynote when Jobs came out holding it in his palm. The switch to C2D - or a price drop, for that matter - is overdue, IMHO. I've always wanted one, and I hope I can convince my parents to buy one for their next computer.
