So they have a 20 years plan for the wi-fi network that will be obsolete and need to be completely changed out in 2 - 4 years....I wonder who pulled that amortization schedule out of their a$$.
At least they are moving in the right direction, maybe they will even run fiber to nodes and provide the last mile with wi-fi/wi-max as they roll out the FTTH. This would probably be a feasible plan where results can be seen quickly and plans to roll out to fiber would already be underway as the wi-fi life cycle burns out. |
