I ahve used terminators on outlets before but there were different circumstances, One outlet in a house has an extreme leak that cant wait for them to call back in etc...

pucked up a 1500UV/M leak coming from one room. It shouldn't have been installed on the splitter or lines running to each room.

If not, the tech needs to be retrained.

dish Removed The CAP(cause it was going to my room) and now it's working (the satellite)

If you didn't and they just disconnected your cable at the tap, that would be a hard case to plead.

Although, I have known cable companies come out and re-splice cable that was ACCIDENTALLY cut during an install. You never know, if you call and tell them that you believe the disco technician cut your cable, they might send someone back as a courtesy whether they believe you or not.
