| Those TIVO goons! I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I think it's a mistake (read: SUCKERS) to PAY for a service like this. First, you pay them a monthly fee for a lame service, then they turn around and data mine YOUR viewing choices. And if you don't think TIVO isn't trying to figure out how to market that information so they can target you with more adverts, well then you seriously need to extract your heads out of your arses.
My suggestion would be to invest in a basic DVR from Toshiba/Panasonic/Pioneer/etc., and make some viewing choices of YOUR OWN! And what about the money you'd be saving??? Well, spending it on ANYTHING else more useful like food, gas, pot, or prostitutes would be a good start!
