| 768kbps is the max DSL will run at for upload. Zak3056 is the one who is mistaken. The DS, OC, or T1 lines feeding your CO may provide higher uploads, but the DSL technology can't feed that bandwidth between the CO/RT and your house. The theoretical limit is 1.0M but nobody is ever going to see that sort of upload on DSL and maintain reliability.
