| Recently moved myself from the midwest. Even if you had state income taxes your property taxes are still much lower than WI and many other states.
Same thing with the hatred of the toll road system. Having a high gas tax just doesn't cut. Again, see WI with no tolls and IL with a toll system. Tolls can be a good thing.
