Denver, CO | word of mouth I used to tell people that tivo was worth getting, but now I tell people to not get it and they listen. Not only has the monthly price gone up dramatically, but the ads make me angry. I hope tivo suffers miserably for being idiots. They should go ad free and promote it - people would go for it.
Do you realize that the only thing you are paying for is to get a schedule of what's on TV? TV guide is cheaper, and the zap2it website is free (with ads) and looks just like tivo's. Why am I paying for ads when I could be getting ads for free? Because I paid in advance. I am a sucker!
