noahnott : Very interesting photos you have taken. I am suprised how good they have turned out so far.

As for setting up a gallery here on D S L reports, you'll be limited to 4 images per gallery unless you pay.

Your other option would be to set up your blog page, like blogger.com or wordpress.com. Either one is fairly simple, you're page is already made so all you have to do is log on and make new posts.

Once you make a page there, you could ask people to visit your gallery and they can post there - the downside is it will get less, whats the word, views than if your images were on this site (dslreports.com).

DreamWraith : these are some great night shots. here is a couple observations:

it seems there is a bit of motion blur. i would suggest a couple things. you already said you were using a tripod, so good there. Is it a light tripod though? if so, maybe weigh it down a bit. I know my cheapy tripod i use for my video camera has a hook in the middle i can hang a bag with weight in it from. That might help the motion a bit.

The other thing to try, and I am not sure if the D50 has this capability or not, maybe someone else here familiar with nikon can answer to this. But on my k10d it has a "2 second self timer" mode that basically pulls up the mirror two seconds before the shutter triggers, to prevent vibrations caused by the mirror pulling up right before the exposure.

Anyways, great shots, I imagine they will only get better.

I learned about the different spaces and how they form letters, it was pretty neat!

alphapointe : As some of you may know, I'm totally blind. I use a program called JAWS to navigate the computer. I have taken to using a digital camera to record some of the things that I "see" (with my hands) and hear. I then have someone look at them and tell me how they came out.

This is the first image that we came up with that seemed to come out well.

What do you all think?

Also, all of my pictures are taken exclusively by me, no one helps me compose or frame the shot, get correct lighting, nothing. 70% of my images from the memory card are useless according to my sighted friends. Keep this in mind.

--
Resistance is NOT futile...It's voltage divided by current.
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
