3 devices, how can i connect them all to one t.v.?

Hi i have a digital cable box, dvd player, and a satellite receiver. the digital cable box and the satellite have two out puts, one through cox cables, and another through RCA cables(those red, yellow, and white cables). The dvd player though, only has one output, and that is through the RCA cables. The t.v. can accept both cox and RCA cables.

I put a switcher and i plugged both the digital box and the satellite into the switcher, but the picture was not clear, and there was some fuzz and weird sounds. So the switcher wasn't really good at separating the signals. Anyone know if any switchers out there that would output a better picture quality than the one that i have.

thank you all in advance.
