Any MTS users having to reset their modem every ten mins?Hi, there. I've signed up for MTS DSL, the intermediate package, and my speeds are garbage. I did the whole tweak test and switched settings as needed, but I find that after ten minutes of surfing/downloading at a good speed, I need to unplug/plug the modem because pages time out and downloads flounder.
Restarting the connection alone won't do the trick. Has anyone had this problem, and any thoughts on a fix? |

You might be far from the central office, and have many errors on your line. Some modems slow down to a crawl after a lot of errors accumulate.
What modem is it? Do you know if you can retrieve line stats from it such as your sync rate, attenuation, noise margin (SNR)? |
