Any MTS users having to reset their modem every ten mins?

Hi, there. I've signed up for MTS DSL, the intermediate package, and my speeds are garbage. I did the whole tweak test and switched settings as needed, but I find that after ten minutes of surfing/downloading at a good speed, I need to unplug/plug the modem because pages time out and downloads flounder.

Restarting the connection alone won't do the trick. Has anyone had this problem, and any thoughts on a fix?

You might be far from the central office, and have many errors on your line. Some modems slow down to a crawl after a lot of errors accumulate.

What modem is it? Do you know if you can retrieve line stats from it such as your sync rate, attenuation, noise margin (SNR)?

Must be the modem yet speedstream is still in existence. If it were me i'm buy a modem off of ebay for 2 or 5 dollars but make sure it isn't speedstream they overheat.
