| On going opinions of Comodo firewall and AV.
I have been using Comodo only for a few days. (Both AV and FW) I have found that the AV is such a resource hog that I am better of with Avira. Not to say that it wasn't pretty good for a beta! As far as the firewall goes I guess I'm kinda relying on you folks... To date, I have not seen any issues aside from the usual GUI stuff that most get bent up about. For example; Not being able to set components to ask, and a lack of something to tell you just what is accessing at the moment...
I was rather hoping to get some critiques of the beast from this pool of paranoids! I have been off-line for over two years and I'll tell you, I sure miss Sygate!
Cheers all! |

| I hope, I did understand you correctly. CPF will inform you which connection is established (screen cpf_current). If you set-up the monitoring to "high", you will be informed which application is trying to go out (Screen cpf_alert). If you do permit the connection of this application generally (remeber my answer) you will not longer informed.
I have running CPF on my laptop and be happy with this. -- Regards from Germany. Please excuse my stumbling English |
