Anyone brave enough to try the last two tabs(advanced options)?
The 5th tab has Power options, I wonder if it will convince the DSLAM to increase the transmission power levels.
Don't want to try them yet, just monitoring the modem to see how it compares with the SpeedStream 6520 it replaced.
So far, some impressions :
- a nice option, you can enable and configure time server options. It takes effect immediately, and synch modem time with the selected net servers. (6520 did that after being up for maybe a couple days, no option to configure the service.)
- I like how it keeps stats of total data transfers right on the main modem stats.
- also like how you can 'name' the computers on the network, instead of simply having MAC addresses.
