Your line stats look OK,but the CRC errors are a little high on the inbound side. Does it show,in the modem log, your modem losing sync, then regaining sync with a new WAN IP address? -- I'm just a Material Handling Tech.If it's too heavy, get a Forklift. |

  Mountaineer1 Big WVU Fan Premium,MVM join:2002-01-12 Universe | In the modem's Connection Configurations page,is it set to "Always Attempt to Connect",or "Smart Keep alive"? -- I'm just a Material Handling Tech.If it's too heavy,get a Forklift. |

@swbell.net | Um...It's connect on demand. I think one of the links you gave me on how to setup the modem for this problem said to put it on that. |

Ok, ty. So that should be it now? Time to test? Hopefully, that's it. Test, yes. Do speed tests, download large files,etc.. See if your connection drops again. BTW,what firmware is on the WRT54Gv6 and on the modem? -- I'm just a Material Handling Tech.If it's too heavy, get a Forklift. |

@swbell.net | I think the router has the newest from Linksys, it is v1.01.0. And the Speedstream 4100 modem has v1.0.0.53. |
