Re: Odd DSL Line Stats you both using the same type of modem? The reason I ask is because it's been my experience that Gnet sucks for marginal lines... -- Check out the TekSavvy Forums: »TekSavvy DSL |

bumbo join:2002-11-20 Corunna, ON | I honestly believe it will, the Gnet's are flaky at the best of conditions, downright atrocious at marginal lines, that's where the trusty Speedtouch comes into play, if it's attainable and doable the Speedtouch will do it.. -- Check out the TekSavvy Forums: »TekSavvy DSL |

lookatthings: Cause all 3 of us are heavy internet users.
Well since switching over to the speedtouch 516, I haven't noticed a drop yet. I went and downloaded 2 DMT versions for each modem and it appears (If I read it correctly) I'm getting a better margin signal with the speedtouch. |

the noise margin increased but the attunation droped with the speedtouch. |

bumbo join:2002-11-20 Corunna, ON | Strange, after re-looking, I noticed that too....I must've missed that... Let us know anyways how the drops thing goes.... -- Check out the TekSavvy Forums: »TekSavvy DSL |
