Well...Charter VoIP has been solid for the 1 month I've had it (knock on wood). You have to like the isolated DOCSIS channel it's on -- and at $30 it's less than half of what I was paying AT&T. So far so good.

Cable VOIP @ $30-ish a month.
Or $8.29 a month (inc all taxes/fees) through SR for me. And yeah I know some people don't like SR, but it works great for me!
If you are reallly cheap, get Skype and then the Linksys Skype to phone adapter - you'll get full VOIP for $14.95 a YEAR for outgoing calls and $30 Euro a YEAR for incomming calls... do the math! |

| 'Glad to hear about cheaper options that are reliable too. I guess after AT&T raping me for all those years $30 looks really good. After the promo period is up I'll take a look at P8 (Skype highjacks your bandwidth for their service right?)
