Re: D-Link DI-624 connections drop when usin X360 as MC xtender

yo - get something similar, but actually more worrying. Just have mine connected to a bunch of notebooks where I'm living. Connection just drops now and again (like, 2-3 times in a day). Then takes about 30mins to reset for some reason. Pile of sh*T!

Post a solution if you find one.

Hi,

Here is my setup:
Cable Internet (Motorola modem)
D-Link DI-624 Wireless Router

I have a Media Center desktop hooked up via wired LAN and an XBox 360 hooked up via wired LAN with three wireless computers connecting to the router as well.

Whenever I attempt to use my XBox 360 as a Media Center Extender, the connections drops on the router for a few seconds at a time on all computer connected to the network, thus it's an annoyance for anyone using the internet and ultiamtely the 360 and MCE PC are unable to connect with one another. I've tried resetting my router's settings, switching wired ports, messing with some settings in the router etc... but can't figure it out.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
