 | What revenue and from where? Someone please explain to me the revenue stream from youtube *based* off of the actual content contained in the videos.
What, if any, revenue crosses hands from people directly watching a video? If anything they *spending* money on the actual bandwidth.
Oh ads? Pfft. Even if the videos weren't from tv they'd still make *ad* revenue from people visiting the site for movies such as Ted Kennedy blabbering, Ted "Tubes" Stevens going on about the interweb tubes that are getting clogged, and other internet crazed videos that were home made, which the majority still are imo. And that ad revenue still has to go to the bandwidth costs to some extent. So the actual end revenue can't be *that* much can it? Don't give me the quarterly earnings either, I want to see the long term earnings. |
