| Check out evdoforums.com. Sprint EVDO is clearly favored over Verizon. Verizon has the 5GB limit while Sprint does not and Sprint does indeed outperform Verizon on average.
They don't have the exact same network. Verizon has a mix of 800mhz towers, which are spread further apart than Sprint's all 1900mhz network. Verizon has a much higher user/tower ratio than Sprint and will long term, this is why Sprint will be able to offer more bandwidth.
