The coax connection is on the Actiontec Router not the VDSL modem. FiOS TV will be available in the City of Philadelphia when Verizon is awarded a cable franchise via City Council vote. That may take awhile to pass in council.
what the Tech did tell me is that all the new condos being constructed have fiber to the condo units, and in the older buildings the MDU is being used
