en102Canadian, eh? join:2001-01-26 Valencia, CA | I went through the same thing in 2001 I've come close to suing Verizon Wireless for the same reasons. After I cancelled my contract on day 2 of the 14 day trial (to a Verizon Corporate store no less!), I kept getting billed for service. Verizon Wireless stated that they didn't have any cancellation on my account, and to contact the store. The store stated they sent the paperwork to the other corporate store which claimed they didn't have it. After 3 months of this, and receiving a letter about credit rating/collections, I called them back (again), and mentioned that I would take it to the Better Business Bureau and an attorney. That was the last I heard of it. |
 | Try getting 2 sets of phones from them when only ordering one. Sending back the 2nd set only to be double-billed for 6 months running. Being accused of stealing the 2nd set of phones, although we had tracking information showing who at Verizon signed for the phones.
And during that 6 months of Verizon hell being first threatened by their phone monkeys when calling in with the issue that we were going to jail to ending with "We will take care of Everything".
I say good on the guy for sticking it up Verizons ass on this. |
