I've come close to suing Verizon Wireless for the same reasons. After I cancelled my contract on day 2 of the 14 day trial (to a Verizon Corporate store no less!), I kept getting billed for service. Verizon Wireless stated that they didn't have any cancellation on my account, and to contact the store. The store stated they sent the paperwork to the other corporate store which claimed they didn't have it. After 3 months of this, and receiving a letter about credit rating/collections, I called them back (again), and mentioned that I would take it to the Better Business Bureau and an attorney. That was the last I heard of it. |
