Inssomniak : I went out with the wife today for a drive, I was on a mission to find one of the nearby WISPs' tower, so we started at the in-laws town (where I would like to become competition), which had many panel antennas installed in it, most were low on TV towers or just attached to the fascia panel of houses, so we both figured the tower was nearby, or really tall. Based on a service area map of that particular ISP, we found it.

It wasn't nearby. It was a small 60-70 foot tower with 2 180 degree sector antennas on it on a guys fruit farm. I was blown away.

This guy was reaching stupid distances with this tower! several miles!

Its nice to see how others are doing it, but it makes me think Im going a little overboard in my plans at the same time.
