confussions about the loopback rule

hello

I have heard that the ip loopback can be spoofed and can let someone access to the computer, so I created a rule for denying it completely in kerio, I deny both outgoing and incoming

but maybe I did wrong and some applications would run better with loopback allowed? since I heard also that the firewall uses the rule loopback, is this true? though I can navigate with this rule set

And what protocol uses loopback udp, tcp or both? is it convenient to no deny it?

Thank you for your time
