In fact, I run it behind a NAT router.

| reply to kim I run behind my 2Wire router that has a built in firewall. I also have Windows XP firewall active on all boxes. Got rid of ZA free as it was starting to cause problems with the functioning of some programs. Have been running this setup for well over a year with no incidents at all. -- The right to search for truth also implies a duty; One must not conceal any part of what one has recoginized to be true - Albert Einstein |

| reply to kim Great poll Kim! Using Kerio 2.15 with BlitzenZeus 's rule set. Great firewall that uses little resources and does what a firewall is supposed to do - nothing more, nothing less. -- Team Discovery

| reply to kim Filled in both "router only" and "router with firewall" since a few different systems run with different set-ups. Also included an "other" to account for use of Bluecoat's Winproxy (formerly Ositis' product) which I use in my corporate environment (poll didn't specify if for personal or corporate use) -- "Grumpiness - the unstable state of mind of one lacking wisdom." |

How did you get nVidia Active Armor to work properly? I have it but if I use it, I get corrupted downloads like most folks. -- "If you want to do DRM on a PC then you need to treat the user as the enemy." Ross Anderson in "`Trusted Computing' Frequently Asked Questions"
