1 edit | any reason to wait for ramp-up?
I upgraded from 1.5 Express to 3.0 Pro a couple of days ago and it's already up to full speed. So is there any reason to obey the usual instructions to leave my modem connected for 10 days? What bad could happen? I like to shut down my system completely occasionally, such as to get a new IP. |

Yes, if you already have full speed, the ramp-up is probably complete (or was skipped). But I suggest you play it safe and leave the modem on for the duration (except for brief power-cycling to get a new IP).
