Yes, subsidies are great... just look at the oil industry. They are really in need of free money from tax payers, just like Verizon.
maybe if we were allowed to actually be able to extract oil from our own country we wouldn't be worrying about subsidies for oil companies... i say eliminate subsidies altogether for every industry... let the stand on their own two feet...
