Panda Antivirus 2007 - Opinions?

Does anyone know what Panda's detection rate it? How good is it? I've haven't been able to find much feed back about it from actual users.

The only thing I've really heard is that the 2007 version runs light on resources.

Any feed back would be great.

Thanks.

Can't answer about their detection rate, but personally I wouldn't use their software due to their unethical business practices. Do a search and you'll find quite a few threads on their practice of heavily spamming those who use their online scanner, for example. Or the fact that they no longer will disinfect some malware and require a fee to do it, but don't tell you this until you are through the scan.

Are you sure 07 is light? 06 was super bloated.

The few posts I've found, the users said that the 2007 version was running light on their computers. They have only been using the 2007 for short time, so no word on detection from them yet. But the consensus is that 2007 version is now light.
Like how Norton 2007 is now light compared to past versions.
