oh boy

what a stupid hobby. Sign up for BPL and do your chatting online. At some point you have to move past old hobby tech and embrace the future. Aren't they just a bunch of silly hicks with nothing else better to do? A pass time hobby is far less important than the advantages of internet access.

hurrr

the best part of the BPL threads are the way they simplify adding people to my ignore list.

Re: oh boy

FYI the "internet" came from some of the tech those so called hobbist hicks came up with over the years if not for them you wouldn't have this precious internet. Use google and discover how the net came to be my friend.

@comcast.net

Well, being a ham, I can understand the interference stuff.
When we had a windstorm here that knocked out power to most
of Western Washington, it was amazing how the noise level
from man-made devices just suddenly stopped.
You could actually hear weak signals on HF with no man-made
interference. I know if your electric fence causes
interference to a ham and he complains, the FCC does send
a letter.
Since BPL is also an incidental radiator, the FCC should
listen to hams regarding this or all that vanity callsign
money will disappear.
