 FVI Growing Pains

Well it's been a couple of years now, I've seen some ups and downs and within the last couple of months a lot of downs. While it would be tempting to bash FVI for their troubles I would agree that the level of honesty is noteworthy. FVI while I upon occasion experience an outage, for the most part has been stable. I average about every 2 months an outage of some kind. Overall though the service levels have been satisfactory and the customer support although it has tapered is overall pretty solid. Despite the fierce competition and the frequent temptations by Comcast and SBC (now AT&T..again..ugh) I have remained loyal the this company...why?! Well for starters it just plain works for me. Granted results may vary depending on the location, but overall their service is good and the flexibility in being a true blue ISP has me wanting to remain with them. I like their support, why you might ask.....well because we seldom need to talk...that's a good sign despite the challenges. FVI has its growing pains, and we've mutually suffered however it appears that they've moved past that stumbling block and we're on to greener pastures. I would like to see the option to simply own the equipment and for latency to be lessened and bandwidth to climb. If the opportunity is present to reward their loyal customer base with improved performance without detriment to price/stability, now would be the time throw that carrot out there.
