Synchronize non-system folders via GP

I need to setup a synchronization of a non-system folder (an entire drive actually, drive D) and I would like to have it pushed out via Group Policy. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck except for finding how to sync My Docs and a few other system folders. My Docs is currently synced as well but the users in question have been trained to always save files to Drive D and not to My Docs. I'd rather not retrain these people, plus the computers have a specifically created Drive D (I assume it is a partition and not a second drive) for this purpose. Any Ideas?

Um, move My Documents to D:\? Otherwise I'd look into things like rsync. I know that's coming from a *nix world, but it should work regardless. There are Windows ports available.

Thanks but already thought of that. They don't want to do that for some reason. I've also got SyncToy (Microsoft program) but I do not believe it can run on a schedule which would be needed in this case. I'm kinda holding out hope that there will be a solution but I'm starting to think these people have two choices, either deal with using my documents or just forget it.

The freeware program PTreplicator should do what you say you want
Automatically backup files, directories, even entire drives! Karen's Replicator copies selected files from one drive/folder to another. Source and Destination folders can reside anywhere on your network.

Options include repeated copies at intervals as short as a few minutes, or as long as several months, copy only files that have changed, and the replication of file deletions.

New features allow you to specify which files should not be copied, and also which days a file should be skipped!

For more information, read these back issues of Karen's Power Tools newsletter:
